I don't no were to start , it been a while since you past. But you were my only uncle, but you were the best on i could have ever asked for. I would remember riding the four-wheeler with you going to the creek, wrestling and a ton more.  People always tell me I look like you. rest in piece uncle E

My dearest, sweet-hearted friend, P-dog. You always had the best and most meaningful hugs when I'd see you. I will forever miss those. You never failed to bring joy to my heart. You always had my back and never felt like anything less than family to me, no matter the time in between our journeys after graduation.  Your heart was pure and you made long lasting impressions on anyone you met. I will forever cherish our memories. I will never forget all the times you were there for me and all the smile and laughter you brought.

I will remember all the wonderful times together, you gave the best hugs, always had a smile, you made me laugh, you were generous, and always down to have a good time with friends. I enjoyed growing up with you and cherished the friendship we all shared. Memories I won't forget; my 18th birthday everyone piled into Big Body Van, nights hanging at Brandon's, Dancing at Kristie's (Just Sway), Graduation night, many nights at the apartment on Frankfort Ave, picking me up from UofL countless times, so many more  memories and I won't forget them just as you will not be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend, love you.

Payton came to help with some plumbing issues at our house when we first moved in. He was so very sweet and nice and even ate dinner with the two of us. We pray for peace and comfort for his family for such a heartbreaking time. One thing that I can tell by all the outpouring of love and stories is that Payton was one of kind and will be sorely missed by many

Sweet and funny. I'll always cherish and remaim thankful for his willingness to dance and sing with me at the top of his lungs and never being afraid of bass on a good song! Your son and brother remained consistently kind, generous, supportive, truthful and always loving. We would spend many hours just talking about life and what we would be? I mainly talked about how I would contribute...I used to struggled with that - but Eric didn't have to, you see because he loved and contributed every single day. He never did a kind act for anything in return only the fulfillment of bringing someone else joy - his character was inspiring and life changing.

Payton , I didn't have the pleasure of knowing for as long as others, but for the years I did know you will always remain in my heart, you had the kindest soul and biggest heart. My last memory was going to hooters with you, josh and Greg watching the UFC together. I'm so glad we got to hang a couple months ago, you played with my son Kyden all evening , you would have made an amazing father, and I'm so sad you will never get to experience that. (though you were a great uncle to many!!!)  We will have a beer for you at the next UFC fight , see you again my friend!!!  ❤

Payton, you were one of the sweetest friends I have ever had. Always with a smile, and kind words. I mean it when I say that I don't think I have ever met anyone so nice. You will be greatly missed by so many!

So many laughs and memories made.  No matter the day, Payton knew how to make you smile! His smile and personality, so contagious! Always looking out for his friends. He truly touched so many hearts. Prayers to his parents, sister, and family.

From hanging out at Nannys to swimming in your pool. Playing pinball or playing with your moms juke boxes. Making fun of Heather as she showed us all what your dad's deer head looked like with his tongue hanging out. It's all those memories we shared together that made growing up so much fun. You were taken far too soon and in such a tragic way. You'll never be forgotten little cuzzo. Love ya buddy.

As a kid I will never forget hanging with you and Jana. Your sense of humor could put a smile on anyones face. i love you and you wil be missed by many. I LOVE YOU !! Norman said he has never meet a person like you who"s smile could like up a room.

"Payton" touched the lives and left an impact on everyone who knew him. He was a very special, sweet, easygoing, funny guy and will be sadly missed by all.  My deepest sympathy goes to his family after this tragic loss.

Payton just about a month ago you came up to our house with a bag of 4 boxes of different kinds of ice cream for the kids at about 8 pm, on a school night. You just thought it was so funny to get the kids all hyped up before bed! They love their uncle P so much. Its moments like that we will always cherish.  You brought joy into our lives and so much happiness! My kids lost their uncle and Eli and I a brother. U will forever be with us in our hearts and prayers. We love u so much and I can't wait to see that bright smile of yours when we meet again. Rest easy buddy, love you.

May Eric have peace. Was a great kid. Danny and Paula I hope you know the good lord called Eric home. We went thru this many years ago. Just believe you will see him again.

It was truly an honor to call Payton a friend. He was one of the kindest and most generous souls we have ever known. His absence leaves a gaping hole in our hearts. We send all of our love and prayers to his parents, sister, and family.
