Ernest T Woods, Sr.86, of Louisville passed away October 4, 2012 at Klondike Manor. He was born on September 24, 1926 to the late Willie and Betsy Woods. He was retired from National Distillery and a Veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Shelly Woods.
He is survived by his loving wife, Delores M. Woods; children, Ernest Woods Jr., Sherry Noble, Bonnie Evans, Cindy Klinglesmith, Steve Woods, Angel Wisdom; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister, Janice Harper.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Friday at the funeral home.
