Essie E. Carter, 83, of Brandenburg, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013. He is a retired supervisor from Dean's Food Company. Essie is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Vineyard Carter. He is survived by his children, Bruce(Brenda), Roger(Wendy), Denise Blythe(David), Mike(Lesli), and Mary Carter; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Leoda Strange.
Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Assciation.
