Ethel Alice Skaggs Graham, of Louisville passed away September 24, 2012 at Regency Health Care. She was born on February 9, 1923 in Green County Kentucky to the late Edd McCain and Zilpha Skaggs. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and was retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company with 30 years of service.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son, James Edward Graham; a granddaughter, Shawn Marie Graham; six brothers and three sisters.
She married the love of her life, Luther Graham Sr. on March 14, 1944 in Hodgenville, Kentucky. She is also survived by three children, Sallie Coburn (Raymond), Luther Graham Jr. (Pat) and Kenneth W. Graham (Julia); 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2pm on Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Thursday at the funeral home.
