Evelyn Williams Goodrich

Born on Saturday, September 5, 1942 in Saint Augustine, Florida, Evelyn was the daughter of the lates’ Charles Raymond Williams & Nellie Parrish. She united in marriage to the love of her life, Levy A. Goodrich, Jr. on Sunday, May 10, 1959 & was a homemaker and a former administrative assistant. She would go to the gym everyday often after breakfast, loved crafting & was a fan of music including the works of Curtis Williams, Mike Boughey & Bernie the Piano Man. She loved being in the middle of everything.

Besides her parents, Charles Raymond & Nellie Williams; her husband & the love of her life for 54 years, Levy A. Goodrich, Jr. precedes Evelyn in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Debora (Tim) Tye, Wayne (Lisa) Goodrich & Gary (Amy) Goodrich; 8 – grandchildren, 14 – great – grandchildren; sisters, Mildred (Julian) Faint & Carolyn (Lowell) Neighbors; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

In accordance with her wishes, Cremation was chosen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in the Activities Room of Forest Hills Commons. Evelyn will be laid to rest in the Salisbury National Cemetery Annex in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she will be reunited with & rest for eternity alongside her husband, Levy.
