Peep,
It's been over a year now since we last talked. I miss you as much today as I did the day you passed.  Our time spent together will be cherished forever.  My family thinks and talks about you all the time.  Memories make us smile and keep us strong. I know you wanted to be with the love of your life "Meem" and that helps us to know you are happy again!  

Please keep looking out for our family and keep us all safe. You will always be one of my heroes in life but that fact that I can't remember if I ever told you that,brings tears to my eyes. I hope if I never said it that you know it now and forever.  You raised a great man in my dad.  The fact that my 2 heroes are a father and son is something really special and it makes me the luckiest man in the world. I can only hope that one day my kids think half as much of me as I think of my Peep and dad.

Please give Meem a big hug for me and tell her I love her. I Love you both with all my heart and miss you more than you can imagine.

I'm gonna miss you, and so is everyone you left your mark on. You were a hero. Not only for your service, but also for how you raised this whole giant family. I love you Pepaw...and I miss you already.

Dad we miss you and mom so much; but we know you are together again for eternity. We know you will be looking out for us everyday and helping us make the right decisions as you always have.

Thank you dad for being there for our family and being the guiding light you were. Thank you for being my hero. Thank you making me the man I am today.Thank you for your service to this Great Nation and all the sacrifices you and mom made for us.

Peep I find comfort in knowing that I now have another guardian angel looking down on me.  You were a great father in law and loved that witty part of you. Peep, I know I got to finally tell you I was in school and the look on your face was priceless. I'm gonna miss you like crazy but I'm happy you're not hurting anymore. The fact that you fought for our freedom all those years ago still makes my heart happy. Love you and meem. See you someday

There are only a few men in my life that I consider True Heroes and you are one of those amazing men! The more I learned of things you endured in a lifetime the more I realized how absolutey blessed our entire family was to have you for 96 wonderful years. I will miss you joking around all the time and all those funny sayings you had. Peep, looking back I can't recall ever seeing you get mad. You were always joking around with us.

Peep, thank you for your service. Thank you for your bravery, your courage, your heart! 
I'm sad but at peace knowing you are getting to hold hands with your sweetie again. You and Meem will be missed terribly, but knowing you are back together makes us happy.

PopPop I am sure you and MamMaw have already meet up again and are so happy to see each other! Cooper and I miss you both very much but you will always have a piece of out hearts! Cooper said today that he will always remember the day that you and Dad came to school on Veterans Day and that you were so popular that they took your alls picture and put it in their School year book!
