Born in Louisville to the late Richard and Kathryn Taylor, Fergus was a retired sorter of 35 years for the US Postal Service, a member of Shively Christian Church, and an Army veteran of the Vietnam era.
Fergus is survived by his daughter, Bethany Walden; son Daniel Taylor; grandchildren TJ Walden and Madelynn Taylor; great-granddaughter Alaya; and nieces and nephews Rachel, Stephanie, Debbie, Sheila, Kenny, Glen, and Jim. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Taylor, a brother, Larry Taylor; a sister, Beverly Lewis; and nephews Richard and David.
Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Wednesday, January 28th at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd, followed by his funeral service at 1:00. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
