

Floyd was a man who loved to work with his hands. He was a carpenter and found the most joy in life building things. It was a passion that followed him all his life.
Floyd also enjoyed the outdoors spending time with his granddaughters exploring local parks.
Most of all Floyd will be remembered for the love that he had for his family and friends. Whether that was spending time playing a game of pool or repairing a shed for a neighbor, Floyd had a big heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Eva Brewer, one brother, and three sisters.
He survived by his Step-Daughter Teresa Hampton (Dave); Brother Monroe Brewer (Diane); Sisters Nillie, Sue, Fay, and Judy; Two granddaughters Rachael and Ashleigh.
Funeral service for Floyd will be held on Thursday December 11, 2025, at 12:00pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home Okolona-Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation for Floyd will also be held on Thursday December 11, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Home, "Where Personal And Sincere Service Is Tradition."
