Franklin Smith Fusting, 94, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at his home. He was born September 18, 1921 in Webster, Kentucky to the late John Albert and Louise (May) Fusting. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Alice Jarrard. He was a loving husband and father that enjoyed working around the house in his retirement after many years as the sheet metal shop foreman for JCPS.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Tonita Joan (Spatz) Fusting; daughter, Donna Fusting Simpson; and brother, George Fusting.
A private service will be held at Arch L. Heady and Son Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Louisville, Kentucky 40215 with private burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
