Gale J. Decker Aldridge

Gale Jean Decker Aldridge, 69, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Gale loved the Beatles and Elvis! She was a hugger and kisser – sometimes you needed two Kleenexes to dry your face! Gale loved horses, going to Churchill Downs, and playing poker. She was always up for a good shopping spree!

Gale was preceded in death by her husband, Roger T. Aldridge; parents, Cleve and Dorothy Decker.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Phillip Steele (Cindy); grandchildren, Tearra, Whitney, Jamison, Ashley, Allie, Darrion, Brandon; great grandchildren, Aliyah, Brooklyn, Thomas, Audrianna, Addi, Kinnidi, Kinslea, Colton, KJ, Avery, Aubrey; sisters, Diana Kendall (Wes), Sandra Gramig (Dan), Brenda Shadburne; step siblings, Dorothy, Debbie, Doug Nave; several loving nieces and nephews; and loving friends.

The Funeral Service will be Friday, June 11, 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday, from 12:00pm – 8:00pm and again on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
