

Geneva Lois Whorley, 97, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1928 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, to Willie Lee and Bertha Alpha Sparks Westerfield.
Geneva loved working puzzles and having the completed work professionally framed. She ensured that each of her beloved family members received at least one. Geneva found solace in the prayer room that she kept at every house she lived in.
She will be missed.
She is survived by her four children, Geraldine Garrett, Rickie Lee (Vivian) Davis, Norma Ford, and Bryan (Donna) Whorley; five grandchildren, Sonja (Miguel) Leon, Renee Garrett, Brian Davis, Christopher (Amanda) Ford, and Brad (Katrina) Davis; seventeen great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Gene W. Whorley; her parents; her five siblings; her daughter, Sharon Lois Davis; her son-in-law, Tommy Ford; her grandson, Sean Thomas Ford; and her beloved pet dog, Mya.
A visitation for Geneva will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. A funeral service will be held in the same location on the same date starting at 2:00PM. She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
