Born to the late Charles W. Coddington and Margaret Willham, George is also preceded in death by his siblings, John Benjamin Coddington, Frederick M. Coddington, and Charles H. Coddington. Here to carry on his memory are his children, Jennifer Gentry and Mike Coddington (Torri); his grandchildren Kyle Gentry (Alexis), Dylan Gentry (Mary Lane), and Megan Coddington (Cam); his siblings Sarah L. Alvey, Rebecca Khrossavan, and Herbert Christopher Coddington; his uncle John “Butch” Coddington; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A simple man, George’s favorite saying was “It is what it is!”. He proudly retired from Contract Glazing Company.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Arch L. Heady at Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville KY 40206, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
