Gerald “Jerry” of Louisville, went home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Jewish Hospital.
Jerry is a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church and befriended by everyone he met.
He is survived by his father and mother, Ribhi and Rudeina Shunnarah; his brothers, Steve, Chris, and Ferris Shunnarah (Rania); two nephews, Anthony and Nikolis Shunnarah; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, and relatives in the United States and abroad.
His funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. Michael Orthodox Church, 3701 St. Michael Church Drive, at the corner of Hikes Lane and Furman Blvd. Entombment is to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Trisagion Prayers will be held at 7:30 Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael Orthodox Church Building Fund or the Kidney Foundation.
