Geraldine W McCain

Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of Harvey and Estelle Crady Wartham. She was involved in many community charity projects especially the Crusade for Children, Toys for Tots, Louisville Lead Car Club Charities and the Highview Volunteer Fire Department with her late husband who served for many years.

She was an avid reader who loved mysteries, history, and expedition stories. She also loved her garden and flowers. Geraldine never met a stranger and loved her puppies.

She is survived by her sisters, Lavern Blanford and Nancy Wells and her brother, Donald Wortham. Her nephews Rodney Wortham (Leann), Robert Wortham, Jr. (Holly), Garnet Wortham (Michelle), and niece Tonya Duke (Kevin), grandchildren, Steven McCain and Jessica McCain, step son William McCain and his wife Tammy McCain, several nieces and nephews, and several others great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Geraldine will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
