She was a loving mother, Memaw, sister and a member of Highview Baptist Church.
Gerry is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Carl Render Sr, siblings, James Collins, Earl Collins and Ruby Hall.
She is survived by her children, Carl Render Jr. (Sharon), Deborah Smith (Mark), grandson, Austin Render and a sister, Regina Johnson. She is also survived by her five grand dogs, many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
A celebration of Gerry’s life will be conducted at 10am Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015.
