Gertrude Virginia "Trudie" Bartley Drury Logsdon

Gertrude Virginia "Trudie" Bartley Drury Logsdon, 89, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Russell Edwin Drury and Raymond Earl Logsdon. Left to cherish her memory are her 5 children, Cynthia Ann Darbro(Brent), Rebecca Lynn Capps(John), Mary Lynn Cassidy(Tom), Raymond Lawrence Logsdon(Jane), and Jeffery Earl Logsdon(Cheryl); 4 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; and her brother, James Bartley(Jean).

Trudie was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church since 1956. She and Raymond loved to travel the United States on many bus tours. At any given time, you could find her sitting at the table working her jigsaw puzzles, her favorite pastime. She also loved sitting in her swing watching the birds. She had a sweet tooth for chocolate and loved her beer and wine.

Our mother will be sorely missed by many.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6105 S. 3rd St. Louisville, KY with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday at Evergreen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hosparus.
