

She was born on May 6, 1932, in Irvine, Kentucky, and spent most of her life in Estill County. Glynna dedicated her career to education, teaching for many years before retiring as an Assistant Professor of Home Economics at Eastern Kentucky University.
Glynna found great joy in cooking, gardening, and traveling with her sister. She was an active member of Alpha Delta Kappa, the Four Seasons Garden Club, and was a lifelong member of Williams Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, A. D. Noland; her parents, Joe Hays, Sr. and Delilah Coburn Hays; her brothers, Elvin Hays and Joe Hays, Jr.; and her sisters, Lois Winkler, Lucy Brueck, and Mary Kathryn Hays.
Glynna is survived by her stepdaughter, Cindy Callahan (Danny); her nephew, Randy Hays (Frances); her niece, Susan Boroughs (Mark); her step-grandson, Daniel Callahan; her great-nephews, Robert Hays (Melinda) and William Hays (Ming); along with five great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, also at Lewis Funeral Home of Irvine.
