She was born on August 2, 1930, London Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edd and Elzia (Herron) Jones. Doris was a Homemaker and Mother of three daughters. Who enjoyed music, feeding the birds with her grandchildren and her pets.
Doris was preceded in death by brothers, Ed Jones, Arlie Jones, Hubert Jones and two sisters, Chris Ward and Jean Whitaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Pam Sparks (Glen), Angie Hammons (David) and Linda Doepke; four
grandchildren Ian and Emily Hurd, Tyler and Shelby Hammons; five Siblings, Orland Jones (Joyce), Don Jones, Den Jones (Jane), Doug Jones (Bonita), Janette Tyree and many nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Bouncy (dog), Pywick and Winky (cats)
Memorial service: Saturday August 10, 2013 2:00 p.m. at Arch L Heady at Resthaven with interment in Resthaven Cremation Garden. Visitation: 12:30 to 2 p.m.
