Hedy grew up during World War II, was able to overcome the difficult times, and became an American Citizen. She did her best to live the American dream and enjoy life. Hedy was an avid animal lover as a member of the Humane Society and ASPCA. She rescued several stray cats and gave loving homes to several rescued dogs. Hedy was a dedicated and a proud member of the Masonic Eastern Star Society for over 50 years. She retired from Cross Motors after 50 years. Catholic by faith, Hedy loved God and her family. Becoming a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, brought her much joy, as well as spending time with her family creating everlasting memories. She was very proud of her family and all of their accomplishments.
Here to carry on her memory is her children; Monica Gray and Robert Gray, grandchildren; Jimmy (Dorothy) and Tommy, and five great grandchildren; James, Josh, Louis, Kinley, and Presley. Two fur babies Sam and Bruce and many other will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Hedy’s memory to Hosparus of Lousiville.
