Helen Chesser

Mrs. Chesser is preceded in death by her husband, John Fred Chesser, parents, Cecil Davis Sr., and Goldie L. Davis, sisters, Betty Scott, Frankie Boston and Linda Strothoff and her granddaughter, Brittany Neuling.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joseph Dennis Hazelwood (Theresa), Judy Sinkhorn (Alan), Karen Neuling (Mike), Donna Brown (Dru), Lisa Branham (Danny) and their father Mike Segvich, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cecil Davis Jr. and Allen Glenn Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and her best friends Buster and Charlie.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3-8pm Monday.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their outstanding care and love that they extended to Helen during the last few weeks of her life.

Helen will be remembered for her wittiness, and for her love of dancing and music. Helen was a shock and awe kind of woman and her unfiltered comments will forever be remembered, especially by her grandchildren.
