Helen Ruth Sparks Craft, 89, of Greenville, Kentucky passed away November 30, 2011 at Belle Meade Home in Greenville. She was born on August 6, 1922 to the late Chester and Esther Sparks in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a retired School teacher from the Jefferson County Public School System.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Craft Sr.
She is survived by her son, Charles Edward Craft, Jr.; a grandson, Michael Edward Brooks and his wife Tammy; three granddaughters, Brittany, Amber and Lindsey; and one brother-in law, Paul Yarborough.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Friday December 2, 2011 at 2pm at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40222 with burial in Louisville Memorial Garden East. Visitation will be from 10-2 on Friday at the funeral home.
