Helen Lucille Hass

She and her husband, the late Carl Hass, lived in Louisville, Kentucky for 30 years and were members of Saint Carmel Catholic Church.

Mom is survived by four sons and one daughter: Larry Vertrees & Shelia of Dallas NC, Bill Vertrees (Linda), Chet Vertrees (Barbara), Sharon Gregory & her late husband Harry and Mike Vertrees & Anita of Elizabethtown KY, and two stepchildren Mark Hass (Terry), Beverly Brumbach (Mike). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 39 great-great grandchildren.

Mom, we will always love you and forever miss you.

A special thanks to all the siblings and, Barbara, Amanda and to Jennifer (Caregiver) for providing 2 visits every day while in the nursing home.

Funeral Services will be held on January 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Helen will be laid to rest in the St. Philip Mausoleum of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums, where she will rest alongside her husband for eternity. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
