He was a retired employee with 30 years of service for Phillip Morris. He was also the co-owner of H&B Woodcraft.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers.
Herbert is survived by his loving wife of fifty one years, Barbara Willis, a daughter, Deborah Smith (Todd), a sister, Aileen Rich, grandchildren, Erica, Zachary, Tyler and Tanner, and a brother-in-law Mike. He is also survived by his two cats, Sunny and Katrina.
A celebration of Herbert’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
