Ida Mae Wagner

Mrs. Ida Mae Wagner—68 of Louisville, Kentucky, wife of Clyde M. Wagner—went to be with the Lord following a long illness on Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on October 13, 1948. Her parents, Walter and Christine Sowder, and her brother James W. Sowder preceded her in death. She was a loving and caring wife for 53 years and a devoted mother to her two sons. She was also an avid rose gardener, cake decorator, doting grandmother, and a life-long Elvis fan. Aside from her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Timothy W. Wagner (fiancé Eva Robinson) and Michael D. Wagner both of Louisville. Sisters Deanna Bullock (Bill), Eva Frazier, Jenny McCarty (Jim), Rita Quintanilla (Joe), and brother, Jack Sowder. Grandchildren Jessica Wagner, Amantha Wagner, and Christian Wagner. Brother-in-law; Carl Norbert(Rissie), sister-in-law; Anita Gayle Evans and extended family members Asif and Lisa Qureshi, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Ida Mae will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Arch L. heady & Son FH. 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, KY 40219 with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2pm-8pm. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude.
