Jack T. Burch

Jack was a retired Store Manager for Assured Auto Care and previously worked for Firestone/Bridgestone. He was an avid and outstanding bowler, well known at Dixie Bowl, and he was an Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Helga “Oma” Burch; and a sister, Beulah Joyce Philips. Jack is survived by his sons Jeff Burch and Kevin Burch; sisters Carol Ann Bigham (Harold), Sandra Cook (Paul), and Emily Whitesell; brothers, Neyland and Larry Burch; grandchildren Sean, Brandon, Emily, and Christine; a great-grandchild, Austin; and many nieces, nephews, Ina Ruth Bigham McKune (Jeff), Mary Beth Bigham Reynonds (Kevin), William Dean Bigham, Forrest Burch Bigham (Jennifer), Georgia Lynn Phillips Jester (John), Steven Leroy Phillips, Douglas Markham Burch (Ashley), Ronald Clark Cook, Timothy Paul Cook (Gala), D. Troy Whitesell (Cary) and Lori Leigh Whitesell.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at a later date. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Wednesday.
