

He was born March 30, 1940 in Louisville, KY, the son of Max and Bessie (Rosenstein) Goldberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Helene Goldberg, sisters, Elaine Davidson, Shirley Perchik and a brother, Alvin Goldberg.
Jack was the Assistant Director of Urban Renewal in Louisville. He was also the owner of Material and Things Hardware, founder and co-owner of Classic Homes and Classic Laminating/Classic Cabinets & Millwork. He was a member of The Temple Synagogue and truly enjoyed fishing with his good buddies, catching whatever would bite.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie A Goldberg; children, Betsy Rosenstein (David) and Mindye Mannel (Rick), step-daughter, Traci Hibberd Clifton (Chad) and step-son, Chris Hibberd (Crystal); grandchildren, Mark, Abby, Lisa, and Adam Rosenstein, Cooper and Brent Mannel, Cash Clifton, Kyle and Kody Hicks; and a great-granddaughter, Kaia Hicks; sisters, Toni Ernst (Joe) and Kitty Meit (Jerry); brothers, Bob Goldberg and Fred Goldberg (Eleanor).
Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary expressions, donations may be given to The Jewish Community of Louisville Early Learning Program, 3600 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40205 or a charity of donor’s choice.
