Jack Wilbur Hunt, 85, entered into rest on January 3, 2018. He was retired from sales and management with Western-Southern Life Insurance Company. Mr. Hunt was a Navy Veteran, serving from 1950 until 1954. He was a member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church and a native of Carothersville, MO. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Cecil Mae Hunt, in June 2017. He is survived by two sons, Michael Hunt (Carlotta) and Scott Hunt: two daughters, Cindy McCauley (Bob) and Betty DeLoof (Don); seven grandchildren, Davey, Nicolas, Andrew, Joy, Amanda, Alyssa and Jennifer; two step-grandchildren, Mikey and Greg; and 11 great grandchildren. His funeral service will be Saturday at 12 noon at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2pm until 8pm on Friday. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
