Jackie Glen Halford, 73, of Louisville, passed away with his family by his side on the morning of April 19, 2015 at Jewish Hospital. He was a native of Tennessee and a retiree of General Electric where he had worked for 36 years. In younger days he loved to hunt, but had always liked the horses and Hubers Orchard.
Cherishing his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Viola Smith Halford; children, Tim L (Karen), Mark A. (Kim) and Chris D. (Dorothy) Halford; and seven grandchildren, Dakota, Austin, Noah, Katey, Destiny, Devon and Haley.
A Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
