Jacqueline Elaine Newman

Jacqueline was born on May 6, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Donald T. Ladd and Margaret Jarrett. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Randall Wayne Newman, Sr.; brothers, Terry Ladd and Donald "Donnie" Ladd.

Jacqueline loved to go fishing, line dance, bird watch, and loved to cheer on her Louisville Basketball Team. Most of all, she admired spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish Jacqueline's memory are her children, Melanie McCubbins (Jeffrey), Randall Wayne Newman, Jr., Sherman Newman and Crystal Williams (Jerad); siblings, Donna McBride (Roy), Sandy Brown, Debe Hughes and Russell Ladd; grandchildren, Jacqueline Smith, Randall Wayne Newman, III., Amber Howard (Michael), Madalyn Smith, Brianna Newman, Jeffrey McCubbins, Jr., Wesley Newman, Gracie Newman, Jaden Williams; one great-grandchild, Aurora Kent and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213, with a service to honor the life of Jacqueline to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Jacqueline will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
