James (Jock) DeGeorge, 77, passed away December 14, 2017. He was born in Louisville, KY, attended St. Cecelia, Flaget and Southern high school. He later moved to St. Petersburg, FL. In 2013, he returned to Louisville to spend time with his mother, children and grand/great grandchildren. He was retired from Miller Brewing Co and enjoyed Tampa Rays & Bucs games, going to the beach, poker and was an avid UK fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Margaret DeGeorge; his father, James DeGeorge; and stepson, Tom Deluca.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Catherine Parker; children, Toni Hunt, Jim (Terri), Joe (Beth) and Jock; siblings, Frances Lyons (Don Brumfield), Bill and Joe (Sherri); 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18 from 2:00pm –8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, December 19 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
