He was born to the late Dorothy and Stephen Fahringer. His wife, Eleanor “Ellen” I. Fahringer, daughter Melissa “Missy” Cline, and siblings, Steve and Olivia, also preceded him in passing.
Jim was a man of deep faith who was involved in his church. As a member of St. Athanasius for more than 30 years, Jim taught Vacation Bible School and made rosaries. Some of his favorite hobbies were reading, listening to classical music, and spending time outdoors. He was a caring man who devoted his time to his family. Jim made sure his family felt important. He would learn about things they were interested in so he could stay involved and show he cared. Traveling with them to Bernheim Forest, science and art museums and zoo’s in different cities are memories they will cherish forever.
Here to carry on his memory is his son-in-law, David Cline, foster daughter; Dawn Silva, grandchildren, Jessica Watts, Jared Krauth, Ryan Silva, Aidan Silva,Anthony and Eryn great-grandchildren; Isaiah Tobin, Makenzie Watts, Makaylen Tobin, Keshad Watts, Keevon Watts, Kamara Watts and Connor Krauth, brother, Carl.
