James G. "Jerry" Grimes, 63, of Louisville, passed away October 29, 2014. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He worked for American Standard for 21 years, and retired from Sypris after 17 years.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jon M. Grimes.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Yvonne; children, Michael Grimes(Brian) and Michelle Smith; grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna, and Caroline; parents, Joseph and Delphine Grimes; siblings, Joseph Grimes(Joyce), Debbie Davis(Jay), Dana Herrema(Jeff), and Diann Ferrill(Gerard); and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be 10am Friday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy., with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-8pm Thursday at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home.
