James "Jim" George Lisanti

James G. Lisanti aged 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Linda Lisanti; his children Austin, 27 of Louisville, and Lindsay, 25 of Columbus, OH; three brothers Jerry (Lauri) Lisanti of Pittsburgh PA, Patrick (Annie) Lisanti of Morgantown, WV and Dr. Joseph (Jennifer) Lisanti of Fishers, IN. He is also survived by his brothers and sister in laws, Chris (Steve) Merryman of Shippenville, PA and Rick (Sue) Fitzgerald of Vowinckel, PA; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He is preceded by his parents, Gerald and Elaine Lisanti, his father and mother in law, Bob and Dottie Fitzgerald and brother in law Ray Fitzgerald all of PA.

Born in 1961, in Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 1979. He had a strong love of all things Pittsburgh, and was an avid Steelers fan.

Jim and Linda moved to Louisville, KY in 1991 and raised their family here. Jim started his career at American Bank Stationary in Pittsburgh, where he met his wife. He was transfer to Harland Clarke in Jeffersonville, IN where his employment spanned over three decades.

He was an amazingly kind, loving, and funny soul. Always remembered as the life of any party, and the first person to crack a joke (and honestly a cold beer too). He had a deep love of the outdoors and loved passing time in a stream, trout fishing.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 3pm – 8pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home; 7410 Westport Rd. Louisville, KY 40222. Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10 am at St. Albert the Great Parish.
