Jim starting his career in Mortuary Science where he obtained his degree, then was the Sales Manager of Smith’s Furniture until he retired after 30 years of service. He also was the owner of V & R Flooring and the Italian Restaurant Villa Romana.
His wife of 50 years Barbara Pemberton, brother, Phillip Pemberton and sister, Jane Dolan preceded Jim in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kimberli Pemberton and son James Pemberton(Tanya).
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 2-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son-Okolona with burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Kentucky.
