Rowe, James L. "Jim", 88, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 5, 2018. He worked many years for Winn Dixie and Axton Candy Company and later owned several smaller food marts, including Jim Dandy's. Jim was a member of Beechland Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #511.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary Ann Rowe; daughters, Penny Rowe, Diane Graf, Darlene Saylor and LaDonna Allen; sons, Raymond Rowe, Rondel Rowe and Damon Rowe; thirteen grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wade Rowe; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jim can be made to Beechland Baptist Church Building Fund.
