

You walk through the door of your grandparents’ house… The same familiar smell from the kitchen. The old clock still ticking on the wall. The sound of voices carrying from around the table.
Everyone you’ve loved and lost is there. The same laughter. The same warmth. The same comfort you thought you’d never feel again.
And then Grandaddy looks up from his chair, catches your eyes, and with that same grin you’ve missed so much, he says,
“Well, look who finally made it.”
Maybe heaven isn’t some far off place. Maybe it’s just the feeling of being home again.

Jamie Ann Harris, age 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on October 22, 2025. She was born on June 25, 1962, to the late James Alva Duke and Hazel Geraldine Hazelwood.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Jeffery "Scott" Harris; and her grandmother, Lucy Duke.
Jamie was a strong Catholic and devout Christian. She loved traveling, attending the races at Churchill Downs, gambling at the casino, and dining at the best restaurants in town with her beloved husband. Most of all, Jamie enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will truly be missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Angela Henderson (Tommy) and Anthony Lofgren; her grandchildren, Jaxson Henderson, Zoey Henderson, and Penelope Lofgren; sister, Kim Whitehead; her dear friend, Karen McCullough; Carrie Logsdon, who was like a daughter to her; and a host of close family and friends.
At this time, there will be no services for Jamie. A celebration of Jamie's life will be held at a later date.
