He is preceded in death by his parents John Parsons Sr. and Minnie Parsons and his brothers John and Raymond Parsons Sr.
Left to cherish his memory is a nephew Raymond Parsons Jr.(Jean) and niece Linda Barnett (Charlie).
A service to celebrate JP's life will be held 2 pm Thursday in the Dignity Chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held after 12 noon until the time of the service.
