Jean Ann Root

Jean was a Nurses Aid for 24 years and worked for UPS for 18 years. She was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church, T.O.P.S. Group and enjoyed spending time at the Wilderness Road Senior Center. Jean loved bingo, gambling, food, and most of all shopping.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Kenneth Ferguson.

She is survived by her children, Tara Kastelhun and Michael Shuck; grandsons, Cody Sutherland and Andrew Kastelhun; brother, Chester Ferguson (Sue); sister-in-law, Joyce Ferguson; nephews, Michael Ferguson (Dana) and Kenny Ferguson; and niece, Cathie Ferguson.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Jean at 1pm on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation for the public will be from 2-8pm Saturday at the funeral home.
