Jean Marie Walker

Jean was married to Frank Walker for 67 years before his death in 2019. They shared six children, Cindy Harrigan(Denny), Jim Walker(Becky), Rhonda Cambron, Sharon Judd(Gil), Brian Walker(Shannon), and Todd Walker(Gail). She was a loving MeMaw to her 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She considered herself to be very blessed.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Frances VonBokern Allgeier; her siblings, Geraldine Hoar, Norbert “Jack” Allgeier Jr, and Robert Allgeier; and grandchildren, Chris Judd and CieArra Walker Powell.

Jean loved having her large family over on Sundays or taking them to family vacations to Florida and Las Vegas and attending weekly Bingo games with them. She was an original member of the Friendly Hills Bunco Club.

Funeral service will be 1:30pm Monday, November 7, 2022 at Arch L. Heady & Son Okolona Funeral Home at 8519 Preston Hwy. with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30am-1:30pm Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Okolona Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in Jean’s honor should be directed to WHAS Crusade for Children, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Mass of the Air.
