He was a retired self-employed painter.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Broyles; mother of his children, Shirley Broyles; children, Jackie (Brenda), Gordon (Terri), Timmy ( Bridget), Keith (Jenny) Jason (Peaches) and Michael (Danielle); stepson, Jason Burnett; three brothers, Leland, Gillis and Danny; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon-8 p.m. and Monday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
