Joan Roehrig Grider

She was a beautician and stay-at-home mom who enjoyed reading and spending time with family. Joan was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and will be remembered as a caring and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Cormney; father, Charles Roehrig, Sr.; and brother, Charles Roehrig, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Evan C. Grider (Haidee) and Jason Grider; grandchildren Megan, Tabitha, Destiny, Stacy, Cody, Carson, and Raine; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Vance and Patty Greenia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 3-8 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona located at 8519 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219. The family will also receive visitors at the funeral home from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday, August 19, 2022. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1 pm at the funeral home.
