JoAnn (Decker) Wells

JoAnn was born in Ohio County, Kentucky to Ruby Shain on March 7, 1946. She was the oldest of 8 children. JoAnn married Glen Wells on August 11, 1964 in Germany. JoAnn was a loving and devoted wife of 56 years.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her mom Ruby Decker; sisters, Sandy and Janice; and brother, Hubert.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Glen Wells; daughters Carolyn Wells-Reams and Paula Wells; grand-children Lindsey (Kayla), Lauryn (Aaron), Michaela (Chey) and Renee; great grand-children Cooper, Emmett, and Addilyn; and her dog and constant companion Abby. Her sisters, Grace Griffin, Betsy Lewis, Susan (Pat) Shanks and her brother, Alan (Paula) Decker.

JoAnn has touched so many lives while she was with us. It filled her heart caring for her grand-children and great grand-children. Over the years she was a mom, granny, and friend to so many more. She loved them like they were own. We will cherish her memories and her laugh (squeak squeak).

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, October 28, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
