Family of Joe,

I just learned of your father, Joe's, passing and want to extend my sincerest sympathy.  As with your Mother, I called him frequently with names on the St. Edward prayer line.  It was always a pleasure to chat with him and I will miss calling him and hearing his little bird chirping in the background.  I pray God will grant peace to all your family.

I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I was an apprentice electrician under Joe and worked with him for many years after that. He was truely "one of the good guys"

Butch, Ronnie and Mike, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I know you knew what a special father and person Joe was as well as your Mom. I especially appreciated his thoughtfullness to come visit or call to check on Dad. As I just got back in the states today and got the message from Bruce, my heart is saddened that we all lost a super person in our lives and Dad will be as well. Dad always commented when Butch brought Joe to visit on how well your Dad looked and got around. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you and God Bless.

What a walk down memory lane, looking at the pictures of Joe and all his family! What a good man Joe was! I can remember knowing who he was, and then actually knowing him in person, since I was a young child. I knew Ada, Frosty, and all Joe's brothers and his sister. My mom and dad, Arnold and Rose Mills, were his contemporaries and thought a lot of both him and Dora. I am so sorry for your loss. Bruce, Bill, Dave, and Jerry, my thoughts are with you as you say good-bye to yet another sibling. Also, to Joe's children, I'm so sorry that you have lost your dad. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

I love Joe. I use to love when he would come to our birthday parties, bbq's and other family get-togethers. It was like a guest-of-honor was coming.
