Smith, Joe D., 78, passed away July 19, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe D. Sr. and Bernice Smith; brother, Arthur Smith; and sister, Wanda Price.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Ruby Smith; children, Mark D. Smith, Sandra Ray (Michael), Cathy Jo Smith; grandchildren, Sarah, Danielle (Rob), Michael (Amanda), Christin (Josh), Megan and T.J.; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Madisyn, Arayah, Ryan, Blake, Olivia and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
