He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Joe retired as a Maintenance Supervisor for LG&E Energy Corp with 37 years of service. He was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and member of Highview Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Margaret Woodruff.
Survived by his wife, Judith Woodruff; son, Brian J. Woodruff (Carol); Grandsons, Tyler (Faith), Zach (Maddie); great-grandchildren, Theo, Beckham, Tripp, and Joann Marie; sister, Charlotta Parido; nephew, James Parido.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218, on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 am.
