Bill was preceded in death by parents; William “Bud” Barton and Ann Barton. The love of his life, Judith Ann Barton, whom he was married to for 30 years, his sister; Mary Ann Haendiges, brother; James T. Barton and brother in law, Don McKinney.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his children; Jennifer Hodge (Chris), Jamie Hedden (Jason), Joei Barton, Jenny Lusby (Joey), Andrea Fitch, Lara Barton, John Barton (Sherry), Tim Barton and LaShonda Crouch (Robert). Bill will also be missed by his siblings, Maureen Barton, Bonnie McKinney, Karen Herrell and Michael Barton, his seventeen grandchildren and four great-grand children. Bill also leaves behind his faithful furry companions, Tabby and Shadow.
A memorial service will be held in Bill’s honor on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
