He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Thomas Murphy.
He is survived by his loving parents, Max Taylor and Peggy Loretta Douglas; his beloved daughter, Tara Rose Prior; a sister, Catherine Felts; grandparents, Max T. and Peggy J. Douglas Sr. and Wilma L. Murphy; a niece, Kaylee Felts and a nephew, Kenny Felts III.
A service in honor of John’s life will be private at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Public visitation will be Friday January 18, 2013 from 3-8 at the funeral home.
