John W. Leach, 72, of Louisville passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born on July 10, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Vernon H. Sr. and Lettie Sallee Leach. He was retired from General Electric as a material specialist.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Sue Dewitt Leach; two sons, David Leach (Barbara) and Barry Todd Leach; granddaughter, Aubrie Nicole Leach; a brother, Vernon Harold Leach Jr. (Vicki) and a sister, Pamela Hartman (Gary).
A celebration of his life will be conducted Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Monday at the funeral home.
