He was a graduate of Flaget High School, Bellarmine University, and the University of Florida, where he received his Ph.D. He worked as a psychologist for Seven Counties Services and also maintained a private practice.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Eudoxia Noonan; and siblings, James T. Noonan, William Stephen Noonan, Joan N. Olin and Thomas K. Noonan.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, August 14 2010, from 2-5 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Kentucky Humane Society or the Animal Care Society
