John W. Sego

John William Sego, 92, of Louisville passed away on Friday January 18, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Sego was born on May 19, 1926 in Louisville to the late, Arthur and Ida (Shanks) Sego. He was a member of Kenwood Baptist Church, Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was also preceded in death by the love of his life , for 60 yrs., Elsie (Shofner) Sego. A son John W. Sego, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Judy Sego and a son, Gary Sego and 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services for Mr. Sego will be held at noon on Monday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
